If I order a back up cd…just wondering if its in just a cardbourd case again or is it in a propper case (plastic case so we can at least show it off:)

Thanks again…you honestly allow everyone to unleash their potential.

Much respect:)

 still. waiting. maybe. today. anyone else? misery loves company…

I’m still waiting too. I have a feeling this is going to take a lot longer then I had hoped. I hope The next update will be to the ZB update system.

dfaris - that actually does make me feel better…thank u

Still waiting here too. Sort of…
I got my upgrade for my old Macbook Pro on Tuesday. Still waiting on the upgrade for my brand new Windows Laptop (second license). Hopefully today…

Still waiting here too, I managed to buy it probably at the worst time it seems, 30 minutes before it would have been instant, but after they stopped letting you download the previous version.

im also waiting… :frowning:

FWIW, I was beginning to feel pretty bummed out about getting my notice, but it finally came through about 5:30 PM yesterday (Saturday) evening—hopefully the rest will follow this evening.

Does anybody (other than Pixologic) know about how many users there are?

The download is about 250 MB in size, and I had until Aug 29 to download it. Installation/Registration/Activation/Launching all went very smoothly. (Of course I was downloading mine just after midnight, so I don’t know what the traffic was like then.)

Got my email around 5:00pm.

Cannot fault Pixologic for creating the most innovative piece of software, the pioneers of something I never thought possible & with real quality.

Thank you for excelling & pushing the boundaries even further, you have a great team.

I really appreciate it.

I agree. i bought it less than a month ago after i saw the new stuff in zb4. i wonder if i would have downloaded it the release day of i waited till zb4 release to buy it.

:frowning: waiting makes me sad… lol

btw… still waiting for email…

I have a friend that bought it shortly after the release and he got it the next morning. If you waited till after the release the email with the license and dl link is supposed to be immediate.

And I also am still waiting for my email so you arent alone…

First let me say that Zbrush 4 is great! Soon you’ll be able to do everything in one program, which suits me just fine.

I was looking for an explanation on how to use the “ClayLine” brush. Couldn’t find any instructions anywhere. It wasn’t in the 3.2 Mac version so I have no experience with it.

Does anyone know where there would be a break down of all the new Zbrush 4 Mac Version brushes?

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

You can get a description of any button/brush in Zbrush by holding Command/Ctrl and hovering your cursor over it.

Also, the ZClassroom has some Some Good Videos that should provide you with more in-depth answers.

thank you web master from zbruchcentral.

and zb4 will be wonderful

The ZB4 brush system is the same as the 3.5 system, which is covered by an excellent workshop by Ryan Kingslein (see the link in his thread in the ZB4 beta forum - it’s free until the 16th). It doesn’t explain each brush separately, but does explain the underlying attributes that make up the brushes. Once you know these, you can look at any brush and figure out what it does and why it does it according to its settings.

Still waiting

Thank you kind gentlemen, the help is much appreciated.

Me too. Hopefully it will have arrived by the morning.
