Just got the last of my codes today - have 9 licenses for artists at our studio. They were hot to trot and amazed at what showed up.

To those waiting - it is worth the wait. Your patience will be rewarded. Read the pdf docs which will help to give you a running start and seem a pretty solid guide to what’s new. Actually a lot more information than what we usually get with a new release. They’re at the bottom of the page - http://www.pixologic.com/zbrush/downloadcenter/

An absolutely amazing product and overall a great release. On the first day of use ZB4 and the accompanying docs helped to raise the bar on our studio’s work. It will have a massive and immediate effect on the CG industry. Thank-you Pixologic. You have earned every ounce of praise!!

Yep you read it, it was there yesterday and today it’s gone.

Zbrush will GoZ it to Maya, but when back in Maya… you guessed it I can’t get to Zbrush. The shelf is there, but no button as before.

I’ve been patiently waiting for GoZ. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe try moving the GoZ script file to your maya documents folder and editing your usersetup file as I described in this post from earlier today.

I am assuming you are on windows.

I got a golden Z-ticket.

Can’t wait to crack into this thing.
Got so tired last night setting zbrush up I dropped the ghost button into the abyss of the canvas and it got lost lol. Seriously it didn’t even show up in the transform menu after I did this. Thank u 4 putting the ability to save colors of the config so I had all the color stuff saved and could still go back to previous config n get button back.
Hope and prayers to all those still waiting.
Pixologic and all those who made this possible, thank you sooooo much for all your hard work and time for such a great program.

ne serait il pas juste, pour récompenser l’équipe de ce merveilleux logiciel de nous faire bénéficier de sa gratuité lors des mises à jour, que tous les “anciens” clients achètent la sauvegarde sur cd de ZB 4 (10 euros)…

ce serait notre façon à nous, utilisateurs, de remercier toute l’équipe de ZB

là est une idée en l’air

i think it should be a nice idea if every “old” customer buy the cd of ZB 4.0 (only10$) on this way, we can thank all the people who make ZB so unique and keep the upgrade free…
don’t forget ZB is “THE ONE AND ONLY” wich we do not pay the upgrade!

PS:i try few times to download ZBrush 4 Tutorials at downloadcenter,
but when i wanted to extract, it say:archive is corrupt…

Anyone else having trouble with the docs on this page? I’ve downloaded the Tutorials link at the bottom of the page twice, but it seems as if the zip is corrupted…
Also, the ZBrush 4 Tips and Tricks link on this page http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Main_Page seems to just link to ZBrush 3.5r3 tips.

loving the new best preview render, still trying out stuff, but it does help to add more depth to a render with AO, subpixel AA (woohoo) ,SSS (haven’t really gotten the hang of SSS yet, I got a very dark render once and had to start all over again cause I messed up params, depth cue and the other improvements.

Tried out a bit with an old model

So much to play with hehe , I’m gonna hate going to work these next couple of days.

Think this is my first post here , but I thought it’s time to thank Pixologic for this awesome piece of software!<o></o> Got my ZBrush4 copy yesterday evening , download and activation worked pretty well , no problems here. Already played a little with my new toy and I’m completely amazed with the new features!<o></o>

Again thanks Pixologic for this most innovative software, and thank you all for posting all your amazing work in this forum, this place is a true inspiration even for guys like me just lurking around and being not really active in the forum myself...&lt;o&gt;&lt;/o&gt;

I did have a problem opening one of the 3 included PDF’s with adobe reader, it worked fine with FoxIt Reader though.

Can we now see what the presenters presented during Siggraph? I am curious about the part where one of the presenters could add detail where they wanted.
a few other presenters seem to have touched upon some of the Z4 features and how they use them to their advantage. I am very surprised that retopology got no attention this time. That is the only thing missing. It was something i was hoping would get some improvement.
