Well its clear they didnt prove me right, that they will release at 00:00, silly of me to expect it this late… 23:59:59 is a much better time to release it when everyone is bright and alert. hehehe

Happy Z4 Day!
Of course I don’t expect it now. I was trying to keep things light hearted. How ‘foolish’ of me.
Even if the mail can arrive from today to friday, we’ll see Z4 images from the first users pop up soon enough, that’ll keep us entertained for sure.
This will keep me comfortably busy while anticipating/waiting for HALO: Reach as well and then there is Deus Ex 3 next year. Anyways time to stop refreshing and go to sleep…and if nothing has happened when I wake. I’ll just have to wait some more. See ya on the other side 4.0.
Ok, now I am excited. Bring it on! I just pre-ordered z4, no more using my work license at home! yippee!
i am really hoping i’m in the first wave or so, i’ve got a public holiday here in brisbane on wednesday. a solid day of getting to know the new software would be pretty handy
ive been lookin 4ward to today for weeks and no zbrush 4, now i feel like a kid that gets no presents for his birthday ;(((((((
I’m quite excited. I have been waiting to start the texture painting on my trex sculpt so I can use the polypaint layers.
Also excited because I’m on a job at work that is using zbrush quite heavily. Looking forward to some improvements.

There are a lot of Zbrush users, you’ll probably have to wait for a couple of days, like most of us.

[color=Wheat]OK!!! Now just remember Pixologic is in LA, meaning that their time zone is WAY behind GMT, -7 hours in fact.
At the time of writing this it’s only 5:40am there!
Not just that, but the emails still have to be sent out to all license owners and that could be up to 48 hours if not a bit more for some people.
So relax, and book next week off work to play! 
I don’t even expect to get the upgrade today. I thought we’d at least see the full feature list today. I hope all the secrecy has been worth the wait.
That is unless we have already seen all of the new features and improvements.

Indeed. As soon as the emails go out the server is going to choke. Every upgrade i’ve seen since V2.0 has been this way. I figure 3-4 days before I can actually get thru to download it. So no rush. And note that I am not complaining in any way. It is an INCREDIBLY trivial and small price to pay for all the free upgrades! Only that this has been my experience, is all.
Totally agree… really looking forward to the full ZB 4.0 feature list, and I think the free uprgrade is an absolutely fair condition! Thanks a lot Pixologic.
Would be nice if Pixologic released more vids about the new features, i think i saw already 10 times the vid at the begining of this post
