What part of “Monday August 9 ,2010” you didnt understand?
Its enough to read, its all there…
gotta love release time, everybody always gets so feisty and mean spirited. makes you wonder why they don’t have more frequent releases
WOW mean while the waiting… chech this out!! just tested 3d coat automatic retopo tooll
FANTASTIC: you can get the update at his twitter acount
No more painfulll
retop work…
Not bad, but check this out. For retopo, this shrink wraps uniquely well, whilst allowing the artist to control the new topo 100%. Watch the video.
Gridlost - Uh…ok…
Chris - That’s a great tool, have you checked out Topogun? I’m a Maya user but I’d use that if I were using Max, looks great.

They could’ve meant the 10th of September…2008? And we have to use a delorian with a flux capacitor attached to go back and get it
Actually they said to be far the upgrades will be sent out at random.
Muhuhuhuhhahahahaaaa… I’ll be on of the 1st to get the Zbrush 4 upgrade:lol:
Waiting patiently, looking at the clock after ever project, going home playing a round of SC 2, coming up with new ZBrush sketch’s and idea’s but every Hour on the Hour I make a fast click to ZB Central wondering, was any thing else leaked out?
SSS, Better Render inside ZB, Clip Brush’s, ShadowBox, SpotLight, MatchMaker, Fiber FX, Better Sub Tools Interaction & display, Actual Project saves, working GoZ, Layer Painting, Some type of animation?.
:64 bit hinted at?
:New topology work flow hinted at?
:New brush’s hinted at?
ZBrush is the only Software that Actually gets me excited for a new release.
Every other 3D package I have when a new release is out I’m just like ohh it got a couple new feature’s I guess I’ll fork out some cash for it Mhhhh.
But god ZB gets me going damn it should I just buy another copy for the hell of it? It makes me feel like when I was a kid buying the new bad ass game for my system.
Appreciate the the creativity that ZBrush lets us do with it.
I’ll never know!

Really, other than perhaps polypaint layers; what I really, really, REALLY want in Zbrush is stability. Without an autoback system (the file recovery option hoses my Zbrush) I have lost a lot of work in the past. I know, save and save again. However there are those times of driven inspiration where eating, looking out the window, going to the bathroom and saving don’t occur to you.
I hope beyond hope Pixologic aren’t just heaping on features (albeit cool ones) without addressing the unpredictable nature of Zbrush’s stability.
haha… the final countdown
Now that song is stuck in my head…
Man, so close… I hope it doesn’t take too long for me to get their e-mail.
Even if I don’t get my email right away, I am still excited to see more videos for Z4 on 8/9/10 to hold me over!
I can hardly wait, we’re getting so close! Thanks for the hard work Pixologic!
I think so much if I have time (can’t sleep)

In the ZBrush4 Gallery there are so many nice Clothes, maybe there is a tool like in other sculpting application that helps to modeling cloth by interact with collision an gravity… but I think this is not real.
ZBrush has so many fine tool with that you can do that…
Zbrush 4.0 Turntable?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFur7YDEk24
http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=lv_0K10e6ug
.
I kind of suspect that it may not be a Zbrush 4 turntable…
Yes, it is one of the characters we saw in the Z4 gallery; but I have a sneaking suspition that a lot of those characters may have been created before in a previous version, and then tweaked a bit, or possibly redone in Z4.
One of the things that makes me think that this isn’t a Z4 turntable, is that there aren’t any of the new materials (SSS/ transparent), as there are for this character in the Z4 gallery…
