I’m having problem with scale when dealing with 3ds max 2009…
- I did my base mesh from ZSpheres and sculpt it as I wish.
- After I was happy with my sculpted model, I did some retopo stuffs to get better mesh from it. Mouth area was too difficult to retopo so I decided to do it in 3ds max as like UV works also.
- Adaptive skin and export as OBJ.
- On 3ds Max 2009, import OBJ and add some mouth area polys and finish UV.
- Export model as OBJ using gw
OBJ-Exporter (I suppose it’s standard?) using ZBrush preset. Scale is 1.000 as default. - Import that fixed model to ZBrush.
- Draw back old model where is topo mesh with sculpted original.
- From topology settings pick Select Topo and add imported mesh.
Result is way too small new topology mesh!?!? I have never resized model in 3ds Max so I suppose problem is import/export settings? Or units on ZBrush/3ds Max??
