Zbrush - 3Ds Max (UV's) - Zbrush -> Mesh destroyed

Hi!

I’ve made a mase mesh in Max, then i exported it to zbrush to detail it.

ok

Then i Export the low res mesh from Zbrush to 3Ds Max to do de UV’s in 3Ds Max.


(converting to Editpoly doesnt work either.)

ok

Then i reimport the mesh from 3Ds Max to Zbrush with the UV’s done in 3Ds Max.

ok

Then i put the subdivisions leves of the reimported mesh at their maximum.

not ok

The mesh get all destroyed.

Any help?

I’m not a Max user so I can’t help with that side of things. But when you exported your mesh from ZBrush did you have the ‘merge’ button turned on? If you didn’t then all your faces will be separated which is why it gets all messed up. Hope that helps.

Yes, something in your Max import or export settings is changing the point order of the model.

I turn on merge in export and import options in zbrush.
And it worked! Thanks very much!
