what is so freakin ridiculous… I work at state university here in Chicago, nobody in graphic arts/multimedia department has ever heard about ZBrush. I have approached faculty members many times, they just dont care. so sad.

can i still buy zbrush from say cgsociety and upgrade before they release it? do resellers give you a order number that pixologic will accept? also will your email be accepted if youve only just bought it and are waiting for the cd?

Ok, so now I’m registred for ZB3. But I too didn’t get a confirmation mail. Waiting now for 6 hours, checking my mailbox every 2 minutes 
It is the same feeling as if you just bought a new car and you are waiting for it to be delivered…

I do nothing but praise pixologic. I love the company and I love what they do. I appreciate ryan telling us what’s to come and what’s happening and being that I worked for many years in an industry that was entirely based on network performance I knew there might be some issue with downloading load or otherwise.
but please god, make it quick.
I’ve never had such a hard time holding my creative beast. Seeing the new features on the Wiki late last night was enough to make my sleep even more restless because my mind was drowning in ideas. I felt asphyxiated. The primal scream to move from the cave wall to something much more advanced is needed so I ask you again, please make this wait as short as humanly and technically possible.

same in top unis in Melbourne, masterchief. Most 3d software resellers are in Adelaide for some reason…i did find a one day class here on the 25th, but generally no faculties care about zbrush. Surprisingly public schools and colleges have pretty good knowledge on zbrush…Props to them! Saw some middle-highschools are getting zbrush programs! and nothing for the smarties in the unis hehe
I’m wondering if ZB3 will strip out material names when importing objects like Z2 did? This made ZB2 almost unusable for me.
I pre-registered last Sunday (Mother’s Day, May 13th) about 10:22am Central Time in the USA, and got the screen saying Congratulations! You are now pre-registered to automatically receive upgrade instructions after the launch of Zbrush 3…
That was last Sunday. And I have not received an email confirmation as others have talked about on this thread, and do not know if I should be concerned.
The screen itself did not say anywhere that I would receive an email confirming this.
I do not know if I will have problems or not???

Thank god for the online Docs to help pass the time. I just wish they would unlock the movies in the beta Dir. Though I guess they won’t. Don’t want to bog things down with thousands of Z junkies watching ZWiki vids.

I agree…except that I cant even get to the pages anymore because so many people must be hammering them. So, uh, if you guys could all stop reading so I could peruse them, that would be super.
They should torrent the wiki docs so everyone can download them independently of Pixologic’s internal bandwidth, and read them locally…

Does pre-registration work if I purchased thru Element5? It seems like they didn’t keep records going back to 2004?
I gave them my order number and I was still in the records… summer of 2004 for me
Element 5 handles all of pixologic’s software requests. I bought mine early 2004 and they had my records. Send an email to pixologic and ask them. They’re extremely helpful.

I worked on Saturday and Sunday, and was looking forward to taking Tuesday off, but there was no release, then Wendsday off, but I stayed up so late I stayed home.
Please don’t release it midnight tonight. Give me some time to play on my day off.
I know it will be worth it though… 
Oh, and the rapid start interface is a GREAT idea.
