ZBrush 3 Beta Images/Michel ROGER - MR||07 - Some Wip with Zbrush 3 - (nudity)

Hi,

My name is Michel ROGER and I’m CG Modeler.
Here some models detailed and tweaked with Zbrush 3 beta.
All is massively Work in Progress to practice the new features of this fantastic release.
The volume’s feeling and performances improvments are simply amazing with this version :grimacing:

Many thanks to Pixologic for the Beta test and all beta testers for sharing tips and works :+1: .

These are some great works Michel! Glad you posted it!

The weight and gravity you place into your sculptures just adds a tremendous amount of character to them. Great work.

Amazing …all of the models…the scary demon woman you have their’s so nicely sculpted…and very realistic! :+1: :+1:

hey michel!

finally i get to see some of the models you talked about over at cgtalk.
great work all over the line.

Thank Antropus, your works are so stunning :sunglasses: :+1:
And thank for your comments.

The succubus is the old version, before I refine the topology, so I’ll hope
posting a better version soon.

These are very well sculptured, I can only keep practicing to hope that some day id reach this quality.:+1: I have a few questions if you dont mind answering please.

  1. The third picture down, is that zbrush toplology?
  2. Are these zbursh 3 renders, ley look great?

Thanks.

tez : the left one is the low polygons version before adding details, just for info.
It’s not Zbrush rendered pictures but all real time viewport and shaders from Zbrush 3 and yes it’s quite similar to a Zbrush 2.0 render

And very simple to make your own shader…

Thanks for sharing this Michel. It is always a pleasure to see your art. Cheers !

hi, this is really nice modeling and anatomy.

hey fx81 ! btw i dunno about zB3, but in ZB2.0 you usually sculpt dividing your mesh several times, and you can also go back and forth so you can see smoothed out results of your work at lower resolutions quite easily.
also, you have some smooth options under display properties. and, disabling the quick button in top left of the UI, gives u a more smooth appearence of your divided geometry.
hope this is what you were asking for and i make my apologies to Michel having replied in his own great thread.

btw, things in ZB 3 could be even better.

EXCELLENT STUFF here, Michel! :)i really like this female demon !!

hi Nemoid, i know about that. but that smooth feature in ZB2 is pretty much useless. its not realtime while sculpting. besides that preview is a subdivided smooth result. not actual smooth shade like in mudbox. if it was actual smooth shade then i would not need to subdivide the mesh.

Try setting Dsmooth to 1 and turn of Quickedit… this should do it…

Wow, that’s so cool

hi,

wow nice work.

i guess tez was refering to the closeup of the old man.
which seems to be a rendered peace but instead it*s rt
viewport capture.

Thanks for your reply. The first question I was refering to was, is that low poly base mesh actualy made in zbrush? To make a complete model totaly within zbrush 3 realy interest me alot. To achive a good enougth topology for animation just within zbrush alone is a very remarkable feat. I would like to see a exsample of this. I asume this is what was done in the Gnomon showing?

Really good models!!! i especially love the female one with the horns!

Wow… That’s some darn fine craftsmanship you’ve got going here, Mr. Roger. Hope to see these characters posed and alive soon!

tez: Since we haven’t heard much about any zsphere-revolution in ZB3, I’m guessing a very big no to your question, but I could be wrong, of course. Box modeling that basemesh in ZBrush? No way! Or… Way?

…a new game tool
