ZBrush 3 and Ram question.

Is it worth having more than 4gb of Ram for ZBrush 3? I’ve got 4gb at the moment and was going to buy another 4gb next month so that I’d have 8gb of Ram. Would it be worth it?

I’m using Win XP Pro x64.

The most Ram ZB can use is 4gb, and that only in a 64 bit environment. But if you’re concerned on maximizing every bit of ram you can, having greater than 4g would free up the ram that the OS uses.

Thanks for the reply. I didn’t realise it had a 4GB cap :frowning:

I’ll probably still get the extra ram though.
