ZBrush 3.5 ZS Skinming

The new skinning method in 3.5 looks like it should be good.

But it’s producing bad geometry more often than not.

E.G. See Attached. (Simple ZS sketch with Symmetry)

I have to export the mesh and repair it in another app’.

it looks like you’re losing symmetry during your process some how.

i’ve had this loss of symmetry too, its something the algorithim is doing, not user error, with the old method and using zsphere tweaks you could get results like this by creating a odd number on the res sliders, also look at that 6point pole right above it, thats no good and the new skinning does that alot, i think they do expect you to retopolgize your mesh, as normally with zspheres i think its about getting you a start but not something you want to finish with.
