Zbrush 3.5 Startup Menu Glitch

Hey guys!

Well just messing around with the new Zbrush which is wonderful but I’m feeling unconfortable with the new initializing style, At first you pick up something, and then that tool appears for less than half a second and a second menu appears called “Lightbox” and I have to reselect or reimport the tool or file that I already choose, why is that? why do I need to see 2 importing/loading menus if only 1 will work.

Now, this Lightbox is under the Preferences menu, and I see you can turn it off at program start, that seems great, thing is that, it doesnt works!!! =S

No matter how many times I initialize Zbrush, or turn off the thing it continues appearing and appearing, if someone knows the answer to all this mess I’ll really appreciate it. =)

Thanks in Advanced
Xanatos…

From your post it sounds like you’ve been messing with your startup ZScript or something. ZBrush 3.5 does not by default give you an opportunity to select a model before the interface initializes. So maybe you made one of the unsupported changes to get the old 3.1 startup screen back? Or did something else entirely?

Whatever changes you’ve made have most likely also been the cause of your inability to disable LightBox.

Well it seems you were right, I just messed up with the Zscript again and now I’m not getting the tool selection glitch

But I’m still unable to uncheck the Lightbox… ahhh I think I can live with that
