How about this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7QfdijYPJY
Normal map controls are on the “Normal Map” tab of the tool pallet. If you’re unsure of any of the controls, you can ctrl-click on the button to see what it does. (This will work for most buttons in the interface.)

But …Is zmapper better ? or the one on the tool pallete better?
I am confused where to find the Zmapper plugin
Could you help me =D
thanks =D
Zmapper is retired post ZB 3.1 (according to Pixo representatives.) The tool-pallet method is the current method for ZB3.5 and most features of Zmapper are now built in.
The Tool Pallet method benefits from 1) more accurate calculations 2) ability to generate normal map detail from HD geometry.
Zmapper did feature a previewer which is not replicated in the tool pallet. A good generic tool for previews would be something like xNormal (www.xnormal.net), though I normally preview my maps in my target application. Map transfers will likely get easier when ZB 4/GoZ show which will automate more of the process of jumping between apps.

thats pretty cool, didnt know about that. so im assuming you would need a map size large enough to contain all of the HD geometry’s details, right?
Yes, you would need a high enough resolution map to hold the detail. The new generator goes as high as 8K maps which should put you in the 65M point range (assuming an efficient UV that incorporates the space nicely like PUV tiles.)
