Got my email and downloaded it 2hrs ago have not installed it yet as I am busy on a project. Can someone confirm you can use Zspheres with subtools?
Got it, THX PIXOOOO!!! for one moment i feared the dreaded “I only have this issue due to some strange and unlikely astral conjunction and will not have the possiblity to solve it” when the installation gave error, then checked the troubleshooting and right now zb3.5 sits installed in my pc

I have neither the Cleverbridge number or the email for 3.5. Unfortunatly unlike element 5 where you can sign in to check, there is no where to sign into Cleverbridge to even comfirm that a account was ever made.

Normally you should then also already have the Cleverbridge ref nr emailed to you.

When you bought ZBrush 3 / 3.1 you got an e-mail with all necessary data and on that mail you also find your cleverbridge number.
In case you bought earlier, like me (I did have a version of ZB2, can’t exactly remember which one) you had to contact them, and you got a mail with the upgrade data, including that cleverbridge number.
This said: if anyone already downloaded 3.5, how big is the file?
May well be that I have to wait 'till after the 15th as I only have some one gig of download left 'till that date.

Edit: The zip is only 44.5 megs and it unzips into ready-to-run program, no install needed - which I thought was pretty cool.

Download went smoothly …
Installing : follow installation instructions because I had to execute another exe before ZBrush would launch.
It’s taken me a while to get up and running with my old plugins and settings but so far I gotta say I’m liking the release. The planar brushes and zspheres are really cool, but what has me sold so far is this:
1: Change material to blinn material
2: Go into draw menu, change focal length to 45
3: Turn on floor in draw menu, size correctly
4: Change the transform axis to Y
5: Enjoy the awe of 3d perspective as you would have it in Max/Maya
No more crazy warping when you add a new tool, and it doesn’t feel as though your characters are floating in space either. Very nice job, and I think I’ll use a setup like this A LOT.

Got mine. Installed, registered no problem.
However, I had to go to work, and am out tonight and tomorrow, so wont get a chance to play till Saturday night. Looks cool though.
No problem at all here too .
Just have a question : Does all the recently released plugins work fine on this 3.5 version ?

Hello guys, I just woke up and found my upgrade e-mail in my mailbox. But now I can´t install it.
I downloaded the zip file, now I have it extracted in the pixologic folder next to zbrush 3.1 folder, but when I double click the zbrush.exe, I get this message:
“This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem”
Anyone knows what to do in this case? or did I do something wrong with the extracting? like I said I have it in the pixologic folder, extracted right next to zbrush 3.1 folder.

Interesting…i was thinking of that for game models but it looks like i may have to go back to photoshop to add my details…

You have unzipped the archive in the wrong folder according to me .
You have to unzip it directly in your c:\Program folder
Then you find a ZBrush 3.5 folder in it .
Just click Zbrush.exe and it should work fine then I think

Hi Ghost-d, this sounds like a visual c++ redistributable problem. If one got included with the zbrush zip then I would recommend to install that again (it may be 2005 or 2008 version) but this sounds like something to direct at your support account (at the support site).
