I have a question about the Lightbox feature to those who already have the upgrade. Do we have the ability to texture, paint, and manipulate images in real time on to zbrush models just like in that video?

There are certainly many people who would appreciate a torrent, but that’s not really encouraged, or… y’know… allowed.
Likewise, I’m having trouble activating my copy, so I’m sure many people would appreciate a way to circumvent activation as well. But you don’t see me asking for one. In fact:

Going through the proper channels can be frustrating and inconvenient, but it’s part of what makes free updates possible.

Scott, no need to get so alarmed. I think what you’re seeing is simply an impatient customer. He probably just needs to cool his jets and wait like everybody else.
Torrents, while often used for less than honest purposes, can be a force of good. I do agree that it is probably wrong of him to ask for somebody to torrent it, but only because this is clearly not a distribution method that Pixologic wants to pursue.

Torrents are actually useful in distributing data when the serving sites bandwidth is obliterated by a billion fanatics all wanting their updates NOW.
As evidenced by the site being brought to it’s knees once word of the release got out. . . .
Since he only asked for the torrent and not a crack, it’s a perfectly acceptable request. Though Pixologic seems to have a handle on how to distrubute it, ( via registered users email notifications ) to run it through a torrent is not totally unheard of. ( Ask Blizzard how well it works )
As long as you can guarantee the executable is the same as the official one ( any decent hash algorithm will do ) it would be a rather efficient way to distribute a release.
o whatever i bought the program i just wanted the update right, now man you guys are so up tight take a chill pill would ya. i just thought it would help the servers out a bit no need to b hasty. :rolleyes:

If you have already created a Support account, simply log in and check to make sure that you have provided your Cleverbridge reference number and ZBrush 3 serial number. If you have not created an account yet, do so and be sure to include the information from your license purchase (reference and serial numbers). Your Support account pre-registers you to receive the upgrades when they are released.
