Greetings.
Is there a way to make ZBrush start from new empty scene with closed Lightbox and at lowest subdivision? I have to rid of this default sphere and set up the lowest subd every time when I start and this is quite annoying. Tried to save preferences and it didn’t work although it worked for brush hotkeys.
Sorry for asking such simple question and thank you for your answers.
I was wondering the same thing… Try the following: In the folder ZBrush 3.5\ZScripts, save a backup of your DefaultZScript.txt (so you can recover if anything goes wrong) and then edit the file, on the third line, replacing SphereStartup.txt with Startup.txt. Then you get the same initialization of Zbrush 3.1 (wich I think more useful). I didnt find how to get rid of LB, but there’s a hotkey to hide it, shift+z. If i can find how to do, I’ll tell you.
Thank you very much, Jramauri
Or you can just remove “//” on the second line
and add “//” on the third line.
Here is how to get rid of the starting Light Box. Go to preferences and uncheck in the Light Box menu - Open at startup. Now go up to Configuration menu and press Store Config! This is critical, if not it will pop up again next time. Well that’s it, no more Light Box at start.
jramauri, thanks for the hints how to get rid of the sphere!
Thank you all very much
