ZBrush 3.2 on Snow Leopard, OS X 10.6

Hi

I just booted my Snow Leopard drive to see how ZBrush would work on it in 64-bit mode as I’ve seen performance increases in other 32-bit apps (they can use full 4GB RAM, etc). I wanted to know if anyone else experienced certain problems, and if so, if there are workarounds.

So far, matcaps do not work. I turned off polypaint and tried applying matcaps but nothing happens. my model remains this bland white color. When I rollover matcaps in the menu, it shows me a preview of my model with matcap applied. I also tried filling my object with matcap and painting matcap on it, but no luck.

BTW, this is not just my own models. ALL of the ZBrush primitives lack the default red matcap clay and display a gray lambertian look.

Sometimes I will see a value shift in the white color that is applied to the model when I try to apply a material, but no indication of material changes in the model.

I will post any other oddities I find.

Thanks
