ZBrush 3.12B OSX

No, not even a little bit silly.

Okay, a few minutes before midnight IS technically still Monday of course - but why be jerks about it? Why not just say ‘available for download Tuesday morning’ and leave it at that, instead of having people checking in and out of the forums all night waiting for it???

If you have a doctor appointment for Monday, and you get there and the receptionist says ‘We were just kidding, we really meant Tuesday!’, what would you think? You wouldn’t be pissed off?

It’s just typical Pixo. If you really want the software, you have to put up with their nonsense I guess. And that’s just the way it is.

ZWonderful!

Thank you Pixologic, it works great and appears almost all, if not all issues are addressed.

As for some with crashes, that isn’t always ZBrush. And as some PC users have posted it happens to them on occasion. I can crash Maya, Mail, Safari, Firefox, etc., the list gets rather long.

What would be great to see is successful steps posted from people. Since some of the ‘hacks’ are no longer necessary and we all use a variety of programs with ZBrush.

Enjoy!

I hope they put out some notes about what changes have been made since 3.12… So far the big issues are gone (map generation, canvas resizing) so far so good. I’d just like to know what was optimized further and what features have been adjusted… I was hoping it was in the read me file.

I installed on my computers, all of them are working flawlessly so far. Thank you so much Pixologic.

Been sculpting for two hours now and still no crash. It seems a lot more stable to me. Yesterday I had Zbrush crash 4 times in 2 hours.

Finaly after Zbrush does what I bought it for
I am well peased

works fine for me, ty pixo :+1:
now i need to finish all graphic design work so i can start zbrushing again

dammit. for all the testing we did, some stuff seems like still slipped through. ( though i never use documents to be honest.

i have found a solution however.

import an image through the texture menu and use crop and fill there.

Hi,

I’m just highjacking this thread to ask you if I could have something about your Nautilus. I’m really ready to buy.
But I’ve got no answer on luxo neither by mail

Michel GIN :o

Everything works flawlessly so far for me. No crash ! No glitch ! But I didn’t push yet the beast very high.

there’s a new preference for which i know at least one person here wanted the option. you can now turn off the cursors alignment to the model’s surface (but i kinda like the alignment)! Preferences > Edit > Align Cursor to Surface.

anyway, just a tip

cheers

SWEEET!!! thanks team =D

this is a beautiful release. i’m more proud than ever to be an OS X switcher/user

Thanks for the release notes/list guys!

Thanks support!

Thank you Pixologic. I love having ZBrush on the mac. A great app on a great OS. The windows people around me are now asking me when they get 3.5, seeing the enhancements in 3.12b. And thanks for a having a thick skin when a few people aren’t too appreciative. Thanks again.

Kudos. Thanks for the release notes!

FIRST, I want to saw thanks to Pixologic for the update, and it free !!

Also, I want to ask two question.

Main Question:
Is there anyway to switch quickly and interactively from the Move to the Standard tool with a keystroke and not a plugin?

Lastly, Has anyone had any problem with the symmetry buttons not working in ZB2 since they install 3.1.2b?

Thanks.

Thanks Pixologic - installed the upgrade and, after some initial crashes, it seems much improved.

Works just as I expected it to work. All my major issues have been address and solved.

Thanks to the Z people for sticking with this (and us Mac folks). I know it has not been a pleasant process at times so once again thank you.
