Aaaaaargh! How much longer?!

This is doing my head in! I worked so hard to not think about it until the 29th, Now a week has gone by and I’m no closer…Its just clicked obver into the 5th here!

Was there any clue anywhere as to how long it would take to get all the links out? Is it gonna be a week? a month? a YEAR???

I’m sure like everyone else I’ll forget all my stress once I’m up and running but JeeeeZ!

[Edited]

I feel your pain, I’m still waiting for my link also. I was hoping that I would get it yesterday so I could play this weekend with it. But it looks like we would have to wait until next week, and I hope it would be early next week.

download link came this lunch time ( I registered about a week after the first emails went out) installation was flawless, runs perfectly, looks great, except I have been stuck on another non zbrush job today so apart from a very quick play im still waiting to get stuck in… so its half seven on a saturday night, and it’s come down to a decision between zbrush or beers and girl chasing… dammittt…

It’s been such a loooong time since I used ZBrush, that I had to relearn how to do some things. This definitely seems more responsive then version 2 was. And, more addictive, too! I’ve been locked in my room playing with Z3 all last night, and today just trying to make up for lost time. Man, you don’t realize how much you really missed ZBrush until you get your hands on it again! Here’s a screenshot with some doodles using one of the great free matcaps from ZBC. Alright, back to it. Happy ZBrushing, everyone!

@cannedmushrooms: is that true texture painting? or polypainting? can you paint directly on your texture? what’s the thing with multiple textures per tool?

Hi all.

Is there any notion of how soon the plugins for the Mac 312 version will be made available? Weeks? Months?

thx

hahahaha, we want more balls with Zadd!

Yeah, just having a ball learning Z3.

Scan distance control

has somebody played with the new scan distance control setting they added to the project all feature?
somebody could make a test projecting over multiple intersecting subtools and report on how much this new setting help out.
I would be teased to death for 3.5.

Someone can give a feedback for the new smooth brushes?
It seems interesting.

Hey guys!! You, who have received the upgrade.
Can you put the date you sent the upgrade email and the date you get the upgrade email?
Just to have an estimation of the date i (or anybody) will get mine the software.

Thx

renderdemon: Information and movies about the new features will be made available within a week or two.

Thanks:)

Left I used Alpha 01, noise at 0%.
Right no alpha
Why there is so much noise while working with a smooth alpha?
It seems, the noiseslider does not work well.

baz i ran into a similar problem in 3.1 with the decobrush i think i had to turn off Preferences: performance: multidraw or something like that. hope that helps.

I sent my request in late August. I got the email on October 1st. The link did not work immediately, though. In fact, if not for aurick’s efforts, I would have had to wait until the next day to get the download.

Thanks SpaceBoy! It was the one you mentioned.
Now I want to find out what it exactly does, that function.
Cheers!

Hi there,

First, sorry for my bad English, I’m a little French guy.
This is my first comment here at ZBrush Central, and I didn’t thought that it will be to say I’m sad and disappointed…

I follow Pixologic since the begining and when ZBrush 3 is out for PC, I decided to bought Zbrush 2 for Mac because update to ZBrush 3 will be for free. But… I have a G4 (Power PC), ZBrush 2 for Mac works well with but the new ZBrush 3 for Mac need Intel-Mac.

Well why for PC, system required are Windows 2000, XP, Vista and for Mac is only Intel-Mac? I know that Os Tiger and OS Leopard are different but ZBrush 2 for Mac need a Power PC then why Pixologic did not develop two different system? One for Power PC, one for Intel.

I can’t, for now, bought an Intel-Mac then I did not receive my update yet and when I have it, I will not be able to use it… Then I sad and disappointed

I did not seek to work Zbrush 2 much because I knew that there was much difference between version 2 and 3. if I had known…

Well sorry for this post but I wanted to speak about it.Thank you to have read me.

Haven’t gotten an e-mail but I am really disappointed that is it 10.5 only since that leaves me out for a bit since I prefer a tried and true OS. Just stinks we have to wait even longer. Anyway, you guys have fun.
