ZBrush 3.1 - Texture related crashes?

ZBrush seems to crash when I try to use UV>Txr, and the mesh I’m using is quite small, and low-poly too - anybody know why? I can give any info necessary about my computer required (appart from personal info, obviously).

Possibility 1: Check UVs. On a clone, try a different UV scheme such as PUV or GUV or AUV tiles. If it doesn’t crash with a different UV scheme, then suspect their is a UV problem.

Possibility 2: Upgrade to the current version (3.5 R3 on PC.)

I use 3DS Max 9 for my base modelling and my UVs, I’m not sure if that changes anything. Not sure what kind of UV mapping it usually uses.
