just had this once again but since theres no solution as it seems…
click shutdown process :(
Agreed, this bug is annoying. Needs to be fixed.
Not trying to be insensitive here, but to those of you experiencing daliy crashes and hours of work lost, why on earth would you continue to keep using the right mouse button if it crashes so much? Use the hotkeys, just as fast, no crashes.
Cheers,
MC
I just ran into this for the first time (at least I don’t remember it happening before).
Just a few minutes into my first use of 3.1 after a fresh install on a newly re-installed windows xp.
I have added all the 3.1 plugins from the Pixologic Download Center. And I am using a new Intuos4 tablet.
Intel T2500 @2.00GHz
2.00 GHz, 2.00 GB og RAM
Win XP Media Center Edition
Ver 2002
Service Pack 3
Ive had this problem ever since I started with Zbrush 3.
I tried to use the shortcut for saving tool, shift ctrl T… didnt work…
I was hoping at least a comment from Pixologic about this issue… Something like “we are working on a solution or something”
First I thought they werent aware and that very few people had the problem, but after having the same problem on all my machines, I see that its an obvious problem and they defently should have noticed this.
I have no idea how much work I have lost because of this… but I do promise its a LOT!
This bug is the bain of my existence. Anyone still encountering it in 3.5?
hope this gets fixed BIG-TIME in the next release. Yeah, i noticed use the S and O hotkeys to edit your draw and focal shift size instead of the quick rightclick-menu doesn’t crash zbrush at all. It’s a little more inconvenient but much safer. I wonder if someone could make a plugin or script that has the focal shift and draw size edit menu show up in one hotkey instead of the two. Those two options are really all i need from the dreaded rightclick menu anyways.
JINIAN, are you experiencing this in 3.5r2?
i don’t have 3.5r2 yet, i am currently experiencing it on v3.1. Hopefully, it gets fixed on 3.5.
It has been.
Umm I’m not really the Wacom expert but in Zbrush 3.1 it worked per default whith the top button on the wacom pen set to right-click to get the small menu to pop up. Now in Zbrush 3.5R2 pressing the button also moves the model around which is really annoying since I have to hold the pen really still and click like 20 times before it pops up. I can’t really find any settings in the Wacom Setup or Zbrush 3.5R2 to stop it from moving around the model and just get the menu to pop up. I’m probably just missing something - any have the same issue?
Thanks.
