zbrush 3.1_ problem with zapp link

hello folks
I have a problem with zapp.I paint my texture in photoshop,merge the layers and after all came back to zbrush.but an error apeard that I have a new layer now

but as u can see,I don’t have any _ attached pic_
I watched all 4 part of the tutorial of zapp.I did it step by step.sometimes it doesn’t have any problem and some times I receive that massage.mostly when I work on my texture more and spend my time on the texture,
can anyone tell me what to do with it?

I mostly used another ways for texturing,but I found zapp useful so I tried it.but I donno what to do with it now

Were you sure to save your work in Photoshop before returning to ZBrush?

If yes, what you can try is canceling and Alt+Tabbing back to Photoshop. Create a new layer, merge it, and save again. Then switch back to ZBrush. Sometimes this is the “kick in the shorts” that Photoshop needs. :slight_smile:

u said cancel and alt back to photoshop.sorry but can’t understand how to cancel :cry: I pressed “ESC” but the whole zapp ended.I tried all 3 buttons I showed at my first post,alt + tabbed back to photoshop,made a new layer,merged it and then save and swich back to zbrush.but that dowsn’t work too
but I think I missunderstood u with cancelling.will u tell me how to cancel it without losing the texture I made? :o or there is no way and I have to make it again?

Actually, looking again at this message I suspect that you created a new layer in the Channels menu.

Anyway, Alt+Tab back to Photoshop and save the document under a new name. Now switch back to ZBrush and press Escape to cancel out of ZAppLink. Use ZAppLink to send your document back to Photoshop. It’ll be a new document, next to the one you just saved. Copy and paste the editing layer from the first document over the editing layer in the new document and merge the layers. Save your work and switch back to ZBrush. That should do the trick.
