Seems to happen quite regularly here, I’m sketching out a model in Dynamesh and after some time I get something I’m reasonably happy with. I want to save it but without all the undo history so that it’s not a massive file. So I go to the Edit menu and press the Delete Undo History button and I get a crash, work gone. Pretty annoying.
Anyone else getting this? Is it a known bug?

I’m getting the same problem. Struggling to delete the history without ZBrush crashing. Sometimes it works, but roughly 7/10 times it crashes. I’m using 4R5 on Windows 7 with plenty of memory, and the file is only 60Mb or so in size (I also have 400+Gb of disk space free). Even the undo history that is on it is only a few steps (less than 20), but it’s not just with this file I get the problem. Any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, that’s been my workaround so far. Just annoying to have to do that. Not a biggie, but I had hoped that maybe there was a known reason for the crash so maybe I could avoid it in future. Not to worry, thanks for the advice!
