ZB4R4 cant make hotkeys.

Win 7 64bit
ZBrush update 2 or the last one.

Press Cntrl+Alt click a brush, then choose a top row number key (for example) and ZB says the hotkey has been created. No hotkey is created. Hover over brush and the icon display gives a hotkey which does not work. Caps lock is not on.

The documentation says that the Hotkey file is in the C drive/ users/zbrush folder
I found the file in C/Users/Public/Public Documents/ZbrushData/ZStartup/Hotkeys. The file is called StartupHotkeys.TXT Zbrush writes my hotkey as a Poppup + whatever I press. The keys that work have no popup prefix. If I edit the prefix out and use the format that seems to work it still wont even after loading the file from within preferances / Hotkey area within ZB. Same spaces same format no joy. This is driving me nutz as no one else has this problem :slight_smile: Hotkey creation has always worked previously.

All help appreciated.

I am unable to duplicate this. Hotkeys assign to brushes with no issues.

Yes no one has this but me. :slight_smile:
I think the link between reading and writing the file is broken somehow. Also I never saw a popup + hotkey. Strange. If more people had the problem it would be easier.
