I read ZB4R2 manual.
At section 4.4 Bend Mode.
I try to set curve Falloff which goes to top right and bottom right.
and I try to move curve but nothing change.
It’s always angular curve.
What should I do?
The Curve Edit Falloff is controlled by the Focal Shift value (when hovering over the active curve). The Curve profile in the Stroke palette controls the profile of the curve. We will update the document to reflect this. thanks:)
Thank you for your reply support.
“The amount of bend at the cursor location is defined by the Curve Falloff settings, located at the bottom of the Curve sub-palette.”
You mean the amount of bend controller is nothing.
Is it right?
If you want to change the falloff of the brush while editing a curve do the following…
- Hover with the cursor over the curve. The cursor should change color from red to light teal (blue).
- Press and hold the SPACE BAR. This will bring the popup menu.
- Now you may adjust the size of the curve edit brush, or adjust the falloff by changing the Focal Shift value.
Confused now.
The Curve controls the size change that is applied to a brushstroke along the curve when size is enabled. So far I can reproduce.
But this Bend thing I do not understand. If the way the curve bends when editing it is defined by the Brush Falloff than what does the curve do for the bend ?
THe CTRL-Info is highly contradictory as well … it states: A Curve Falloff which has the point as the top left will produce a rounded curve while a curve falloff that has the point at the bottom right will produce an angular one.
Isn’t what the Info describes just a reversed linear default curve ? How can one curve give me both an angular and a round one ? And what “one” anyways ? I thought the brush Falloff takes care of the way it bends
