ZB3 CountDown thread

Hahahahaha that picture is perfect!
ROFL

And well… cough cough… on the Pixologic website it says Midnight the 15th… GMT? EST? PST? Or here:

An if… will the Pixologists introduce a new route for the international date line?

Lemo…

Thanks Lemo, I’m so bad with dates I can barely remember my age though! Anyway, I managed to find an old email with a POP number (which I used for the Coupon number) and the Order number, so I tried again and got the “Congratulations” page. No confirmation email, just the page. We’ll see.

Just wish they had said it would be the 16th now. I mean, surely midnight on the 15th ACTUALLY means the 16th anyway, right?

pixelstudio, that picture is wonderful! :+1:

haha, perfect picture, pixelstudio!!

June 15?!!

Okay I know its my fault for not reading before this but I’ve got the day off, the kids are in school, its raining so no mowing the grass and no Z-Brush.

Gyaaaaaaaa!!!

This IS worse than Christmas.

Nice1 vadim

What ever happened to version 2.5 announced 1.2 years ago? :o

For some reason they decided to wait and make a big version 3 release instead. (Captain Obvious to the rescue!!!)

So, they really mean midnight 3/15/07? That is rather sneeky I think, how much of 3/15/07 exists at midnight 3/15/07? Like less than a microsecond, or an nanosecond or a picosecond or 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 seconds? Or less?

I think it fully qualifies as the 16th! Lied to again!

But i don’t think they waited, but worked out more features refined, ect. :stuck_out_tongue:

btw for me it’s ok, i go in 5-7 hours to bed, go then to work, and after then i can sure DL ZB3, but im sure with enough bandwith.

btw something for poeples who needs something to do besides working.

Oh man nostalgia pure for me, and i’m really happy that they throwed away the military look…

Hey Codexus thanks for the insight… :stuck_out_tongue:

If ZBrush3 is really as good as it looks, they fixed everything I ever btchd at. Now if it doesn’t require the 256 cores/threads to run that would be a big plus.

For me, Zbrush ran on every PC generation(selfbuilds, i mean) really good, so i woul’d nothing else expect from Pixologic.

besides that i don’t think tehy would like to minimize their userbase to zero.(the 256core thingy)

Bigger, newer, faster is better, of course, but the beta runs fine on my old 1800 MHz, 768 MB machine.

Aw man I didn’t think about that. Bandwidth is going to CRrrrrrrap with everyone downloading at midnight. Why I wanted to wait till this afternoon.

From what I’ve read from all the BETA testers. They were mostly working with adequate equipment, nothing really extravagant. I’m very excited to hear about that.

Hi all, just found these old threads from when we awaited ZBrush 2. As you can see, history does indeed repeat itself. With patience, we will all make it through.  The nice thing is, despite our frustration right now, Pixologic does deliver a great product and they are far more generous than any other software company I’ve ever dealt with.
