ZB3.1 freezes upon startup

After getting this I tried running zb3.1 from the programs.pixologic folder and that is when it freeze up.
The window on the capture reads this
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations{AB8D3D4D-B5BC-4DD1-8BFD-80196E1125A4}\

The errors you show indicate that something is causing ZBrush to look for the installer again. I don’t know what might have happened. What’s more, it seems that the history files from that installation have been deleted from your Windows folder, which would prevent an uninstallation or repair from running correctly.

I do not know what could have caused this situation. Maybe a virus? Maybe some sort of Windows cleaner program?

You might try rolling your system back to an earlier restore point. That might resolve the issue. Otherwise, try going to the Add/Remove Programs feature in the Windows Control Panel and double-clicking on ZBrush, followed by the Repair option. If that doesn’t work, or if it gives errors, you’ll have to simply delete the ZBrush folder and then reinstall. I recommend downloading the trial installer from our website and using that.
