ZB 4R7 freezes when canceling Zapp Link dialogue

I often use the Zapp Link feature to switch between ZB and Photoshop.
When I allow the switch to proceed normally, everything is fine. But when I’ve already started the script and then decide to cancel the procedure because I want to tweak the tool’s orientation, then ZB freezes. I can still see the tool but I can’t rotate or move it anymore.
It doesn’t make any difference whether I use the Cancel button in the Zapp dialogue or hit the Esc button on the keyboard. The result is always the same.
I need to close ZB and re-launch it to get it working again.

Is that normal behaviour or is something wrong with my settings?

ZB 4R7 64bit
Photoshop CS6 64bit

Windows 7 Professional 64bit
Intel i7-5820K @ 3.30 GHz
16 GB RAM
NVIDIA Titan X 12 GB

This is a known issue which will be fixed in the next update. In the meantime you can solve it by installing the attached file.

  1. Unzip the file to your Desktop.
  2. Open any folder created by the unzipping and locate the ZAppLink_4R7_01.ZSC file.
  3. Copy the ZAppLink_4R7_01.ZSC file to your ZBrush 4R7\ZStartup\ZPlugs64 folder, making sure that it replaces the existing file of the same name. This installs the file for ZBrush 64bit.

Awesome! Thanks a lot!!

I’d recommend getting the P3 update.

What P3 update?
When I check for updates from inside ZB, it tells me that there are no updates available.
Or are you talking about something else?
Please enlighten me
