zapplink paint artifacts/tearing

Hi guys I’m working on a model I built in maya. It’s uvmapped with zbrush UV master and I spread out the UV’s a bit more in maya to paint better. Now I’m in zbrush trying to paint it and started to use zapplink with photoshop cs6 to add more color and highlights. Just a rough look of what I am doing is below in pictures. But my problem is when I jump back to zbrush and able to rotate the tool it leaves these paint artifacts in the texture after the paint lays on it that I did in photoshop. Anyone know how to fix this?

Once back in zbrush the paint lays on model and you can see the artifacts/tearing.
