Zapplink not using HD painting?

This should be a simple answer. I just want to know if there is somthink im missing in that Zapplink is not exporting the HD painting, but only the highest sub d level?

If this is not posible then I guess Zbrush cannot produce high res texture quality maps with the need for insaie sub d levels which my PC cant handle.

Also can somone direct me to the pixel to pixel plugin please.

Thankyou.

I dont think that its posible at the moment, but would be helpfull.

There is a way of two to get ultra high quality textures from a polycount that cant hold that data via polypainting as a single object.

Asuming your model is fully Uv mapped, you can clone your model and split it into 3 or more parts, like th head, torso, arms and legs. Hide all but the head, and click on Split Hidden from the Sub tool menu. Do this untill you have your model as several sub tools.

Now. SubD each sub tool once more, and then Use Zapplink. For each subtool.

Make shure you have the document size the same as the desired texture size you wish to create. Thats say your finnal Map is going to be 4096 x 4096, and your head on that Uv map uses about 2k of the texture space. Size your document to 2048 x 2048, Hit the F key to fill the head in that area, then use Zmapper with say! Photoshop. When you have the polypaint data from Zmapper, create the map at 4096k. Now do the same for the body, legs, and so on.

Your now have several maps generated from sub tools that far exceeded the single sub tool you originaly had. Now just head over to Photoshop, and merge all maps together. Copy each map into another, then magic wand to mask sellect each map, and delete the background. Export your new single map and apply to the single model.

Your now have a very higher quality map. If you need, I could make a video tutorial to guide you through this precess.

Good luck.
