Using 4r6 had no problem with zapplink before. After I updated Photoshop CC to version 14.1.2 64 bit I noticed that zapplink was giving an error. Anyone else having a problem after updating photoshop? I tried redownloading the zapp plugin but it doesn’t download anything when I click on any of the links just takes me back and forth between different pages. Using a windows 7 54 bit machine.
What error are you getting? Did you update the path after your update?
Thanks for your time. I started a project dynamesh sphere from lightbox. Hit zapp link. It comes up with a window projecting colors. I click Enable Polygon Colorize, then the zapplink projection window comes up I click drop now - then it comes up with a window “Error encountered while attempting to launch external editor.” I thought maybe I needed to reinstall zapplink, but it is not available for download from the download page. If I click on 4r5 I could download the 4r5 version. But I checked in my zstartup/zplugs folder and I have Zapplink_4R6.zsc installed. I did not update any paths. I’m not sure how to do that with zapplink.
OK, THANKS got it I clicked on the “set target app” and then chose the photoshop exe. I’ve actually done several updates and never had this problem.
But this problem has also messed up my user interface. I have zapplink buttons on my interface. They no longer work, and I can’t take them off when I go to “enable customize” mode. I hope I don’t have to rebuild my custom interface…
Can’t remove with ctrl + alt L drag onto canvas after enabling customize UI?. Rebuilding it isn’t too bad really 
nope… rebuilding isn’t too bad - only about a 50 buttons…
