hi folks
i’m not able to create a stencil via zapplink from a selection saved in psd.
i’m working with:
- mac os x 10.5.8.
- zbrush 4.0
- latest zapplink-version 4.04
- photoshop CS3
i did following steps as found in different tutorials:
- tool > create eg a 3D-cube in zbrush > make polymesh > subdivide
- tool > polypaint > enable colorize
- document > enter zapplink > deselect all checkboxes > drop now
- photoshop is loading correctly the image of the zbrush-canvas
- create a selection > under “selection” > save as … > enter “stencil” as name
- save psd-file
- switch back to zbrush > click “OK (Unchanged)”-Button
- hit “enter”
-> at this stage, as i read in tutorials, the stencil created from the psd-selection should automaticaly appear
-> in my case, nothing happens…
am i missing something???
tried also to turn on “stencil on” in the stencil-palette manualy without any effect.
