awesome breakdown! amazing work! :+1:

Thank you for the breakdown…This is just amazing!

Super model, lots and lots of high rez geo. Can i ask you a very serious question. Now im working on an original mcquarrie stormtrooper. using a lot of your methods, Now i just finished the helmet and my machine is starting to slow down already with the full figure and iv a ways to go yet, its nowhere near as complex as yours. So i realy want to know what are your machne specs ? what CPU do you have how much ram and wha is your gfx card. if i can get my machine to your specs then i should be good to go. i just upgraded from a 10 year old athlon x2 64 to a quad fx APU. but im using quadro fx 3800 gpu. Not a great card but had smoking problems using onboard gfx. so yea great work man and attention to detail. Thanks for sharing your pipeline. Look forward to hearing about your specs. Thanks.

  • Anthony jones thanks for your nice comment, here the specs you requested:
  • core i5-4679 for cpu 20 GB of ram GeForce GTX 780 Ti

I have to mention at the final stages of the work, my system also started to slow down. but here are a couple things I did to handle this problem: when I was done with a part of the work after adding all the details, like the helmet in your case, I’d either lower it’s divide to 1 or decimate it. this helps you navigate through your work and such.
