Yes there was a response and as Windows had migrated to 64 bit and ZBrush is also moving toward that goal, Pixologic can no longer provide support for Windows XP. When Z5 comes out it will be 64bit and you will need to migrate to Win 7; in order to utilize all Z4R2 and later features you will need to migrate to Win 7. I now work in Win 7 and wonder why I waited so long to switch.

Since you are forced to do a clean install of all software, it is a big problem :o
My programs are all legal, but they are upgrades of upgrades of upgrades for over a decade and a half and I am certain I would not be able to come up with all the serial numbers (other than upgrade numbers) and certainly not the original cds
Too risky to toss hundreds $$ down the drain for that kind of slim margin.
Everything I do in ZB works fine except that shell operation, and I would think there is a workaround for that (???)
