Z4R2: Mesh Duplication Problem using Transpose and DynaMesh

Hi,
I am mucking around with DynaMesh and MeshDuplication.
I use the MeshInsert to add a Mesh, then switch to Transpose and click with CTRL+ALT on the inner circle of the Transpose line to duplicate the Mesh as a Negative one.

Problem 1:
Whenever I duplicate the mesh this way the new negative mesh gets offset slightly from the original. I blame this on the way I do it with my wacom pen but is there a button somewhere (I can assign a hotkey to) to duplicate that I can use instead of the transpose line to prevent any added pen movement while clicking ?

Problem 2:
The new negative Mesh is properly masked so I could go on transposing it. However (and this happens only on negative meshes) the transpose line doesn’t work anymore. In fact I seem to always have to re-initalize the transpose (by switching to draw mode and back to transpose) multiple times before I can start editing (scaling) the newly duplicated mesh. Am I doing something wrong here ?

Thanks,
Jens

EDIT: These two problems seem to be related. I happens when the newly duplicated mesh is mostly hidden underneath the original geo. Moving things further out of the envelope of the original geo, scaling it and then moving it back seems to make it workable.
