Here is my spec:
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8ghz
8GB Ram
64-bit Windows 7 Home premium
ATI Radeon D 5700
When retopology is being performed and one selects the mask option (ctrl + shft), while in EDIT TOPOLOGY mode, the application crashes. Happens every time.
i cant reproduce it and excuse me…why is needed the mask option when retopology actions…

I didn’t mean mask. What I should have said was the hide option, which is what the ctrl+shift gives you (you know the green box). Sorry for the confusion.
