In attempting to record sessions to supply information on the redline bug I seem to have discovered another problem with Z4, ZScript Recordings are garbled. I’m not attaching a file, as that I can’t supply a good to show what the script should be doing, but essentially after initializing and recording a session, when I try to re-initialize and play it back, the actions taken in the script get offset and done in the wrong positions. Rotations of the model get spastic, jerky and the model is not moved about as it was at the time of recording. It seems to be worse with ZPR projects as opposed to loading the tool the old way through the tool palette. Doing it the old way stayed stable for a while, but after a few minutes of sculpting, the erroneous behavior crept back in until the recording at the end was a jumbled mess.
can you record zscript session???
i try and from the release i cant record anything! Will you please show me how you record a session?
Thanks in advance
Andre,
Well, you can record, but as far as I can tell it will get all garbled. To record, I open up my zscript menu from the top and just hit the “rec” button. It’ll ask to initialize, I let it. Then I load up my model and sculpt. When I’m done, hit “end rec” and name the recorded session. To play it back, I flip open the script panel at the bottom of the interface by clicking the arrows to toggle it up. Then I press “play.” All that said, the recording is all messed up at the moment, but that’s how it’s done to my understanding.

Thanks! yes, that was the usual steps to record but i suspect that is not working…i cant reproduce anything from recorded session. thanks anyway
