Z4 Beta Testing By: Thomas Roussel

This is a work I did at 100% in ZBrush (well, 99%, because of Photoshop), and more important, I wanted to work on reproducing existing objects, and not working with something out of my imagination.

Then I decided to work on a RC helicopter, inspired by a Trex 450 SE V2 (Google will give you tons of images!)

Here are the final ones. Some parts are still missing, and I will post later the fully finished model (currently, more than 200 SubTools!)

The easiest part! switch to orthogonal view, go on the side, pick Transpose and move the non masked part to the back. And voilà!

shaolin2005: Comme si tu ne le connaissais pas

:+1: i love trick on the step 3

Thomas,
What ZBrush setting to view the “S. Profile” preview in the Initialize setting?:o
Here’s what I have
Initial.JPG

Thanks

What a great work flow…

…Thomas has used the primitive “Sweep Profil3D” (who is in the default Tool Palette) so it’s the Initialize’s Menu for this tool
All Menus of ZBrush are “contextual”

Your screen shot is the Initialize of another tool, maybe the “Spherinder3D”
You have certainly clicked on it by error

thanks for the play by play this really helps and beautiful piece man ! i know it’s probably simple but how did you get your black outline for your renders I’ve been trying a bunch of things and nothing seems to be working . any suggestions would be greatly appreciated . thanks , good work

Well, this part is made in photoshop. 100% of the model is made in ZBrush but I used a bit Photoshop for some background and this outline.
