I constantly drool over your work. Hope too see more soon
Good Stuff Scott.
I’m wondering, how do you go about defining planes when you start a sculpt? Do you have a specific method or tool you like to use for roughing them in?
Thanks for posting looking forward to more.
Good stuff Scott.
Quick Question… What method and tools do you use in zb4 to define your planes when starting a sculpt?
Also: is this rendered in ZB or exported to Modo or Maya?
Thanks. Really dig the work.
I love this.
Hey Scott,
Glad to see some (great) work from you, as usual!
I just received my download link for ZB4 today, I will treat myself tonight!
Probably, see you on a future course !

Brilliant to see you in here Scott! Gorgeous sculpt man - love the beard and hair. I can’t wait to get stuck into this. Hope all’s well with you man,
Phil
thanks everybody.
Wai - good to see you online, enjoy your ZB4. Its a great release - I expect to see some good stuff from you (and yes, maybe see you on a course soon)
PMD - always a pleasure my old friend.
Never Erase - I love the clay brushes. Clay tubes in particular is great for roughing in planes. It can’t be used in isolation though because there are some things it is just not good at, like making sharp transitions between concave planes, so you will have to switch brushes a bit (assign hotkeys, I have 1-10 assigned to my most used brushes). The new brush controls are great for modifying the effects of various brushes so i am sure my workflow will evolve as I experiment with some of the new tools.

Hey Scott, saw this on your site… its a cool piece, has a really nice feel. Interesting to see how you’ve handled the hair too (separate mesh?)
Hope to see more work from you soon!
