Hi Everyone,

This is my first post, I’ve used Zbrush 2 a bit but never really felt I produced anything worthy, but after having a go with Zbrush 3 I have to say I’m REALLLLLY impressed. :smiley:

This is a self portrait, took about 4 to 5 hours to do.

I haven’t put the many thousands of wrinkles I have on yet though, that’s me 10 years ago :lol:

If anyone has any tips on creating good looking wrinkles and skin textures it would be appreciated.

I’ve added some of my many thousands of Wrinkles and redid the Hair.

Here’s an update on my Self Portrait so far, I’ve altered the hair (yet again) and started working on the texture… Polypainting is awsome…

You look like Peter Petrelli from Heroes lol , nice work though. Perhaps the ears could be a bit more defined?

I thought the same thing from the thumbnail – that phonicsmonkey had moved on from Hiro and was tackling the rest of the cast.

You can.

Remember, Peter’s first sketch was a crappy stick figure drawing. He couldn’t paint like Isaac until he’d gained a little confidence in himself. You’re already way ahead of him – keep at it!

(I’m just glad you can do that without eating people’s brains…)

I can’t believe I confused phonicsmonkey and FingerMonkeys. Or that any joke I try to make about it triggers the “that sounds totally racist” alarm in my head. That ain’t right.
