Z2 out of disc space mac

Hello all,
I inherited a old PowerPc G5 mac desktop (tower) and I have Zbrush version 2 since the newest version won’t work on my computer. I have 4gb of ram and dual 2.5 Ghz Processor. I am fairly new to how the mac works as well. when I open z brush I am getting the error Out of Disc space, virtual memory file cannot be used until more disc space is made available. What I don’t understand is there is 90 gb of space left on the hard drive. Zbrush does not shut down either it will continue to open. I am not exactly sure what that error means and how to fix it…
Thank you for your help!

Is this happening right when you launch ZBrush? If so, then what’s happening is that permissions are preventing ZBrush from being able to write to its own folder and subfolders. This prevents it from being able to write its virtual memory file when it launches. Since it has no way to know why it can’t write the file, it gives the default message that it’s out of disk space.

So what do I do to fix this?
