z-project ?

hello,

having a littel problem with the z-project.

I iport an image, after I load my ztool.
Now I switch to the zproject brush, and start painting on my object from the imported image in the background.

The problem is, when ever I click the button for new painting, it starts again from the first target point…

until yet it worked fine, it kept the first point, and when I continued painting it didn’t start over agian painting from the first point… holy… to to explain that issue…

I hope you guys understand what I try to explain… please hlep me…

thank you

THIS DOES NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION, ANYONE ELSE FEEL FREE TO, PLEASE

It does it with me to, (anyone feel free to tell us how to keep it from hapening) but it draws again from the point if left off, I’ve noticed as a short term solution, that if you rotate your model, it moves the line in relation to the picture, changing what part of the picture is drawn. If your picture is big enough, you can just rotate the model and continue.

unfortunately, even if I rotate or what ever I do… it doesn’t work… it’s a real pain, because I can’t use the zproject brush anymore… and this is what I need…

so plese help us… help us and let us know what the heck we are doing wrong or what we have to change…

THANK YOU so much for every little info…

@tomanyxy:
did you find out what is wrong ? could you somehow fix it ?

it’s so crazy… it worked before, but for some reason something changed and so when ever I start paiting it keeps the first target point I set as reference.
so I can’t continue paintinf from teh imported image.

nobody else out there who had the same issue and does know how to fix it ?

thank you so much for every little help

holy holy…

okydoky… I made it… I figured out teh solution…
it’s that simple… I just wonder why it is like that, doesn’t make really any sense… but anyways…

this will hopefully help everybody else when wondering whats’ happening when you try to continue painting from the bg photo, but it always starts from the target point…

when you paint, and it’s doing this… you have the FREEHAND Brush style on.

When you change from the Freehand to the STROKE… kabumm, it’s the magic button and the problem is gone…

@tomanyxy:
this will help you my friend, I am pretty sure !

all the best

What do you mean by stroke? I tried all the different stroke types with the zProject brush and an image plane loaded in the background…but I can only use a Polysphere 3D and not a head model to projection paint images on… when I paint on a head model…I can zprojectbrush as much as I like (I sample with the transpose move tool) but nothing will happen…

???

(also I cannot use Projection Master… tells me it does not accept this version of image plane… I have zB 3.2 on a Mac…I can only use the zProject brush with the imageplane X and cubeX subtools)
