Z-Project Brush changes to Transpose

Hey guys,

newbie question here! I’ve gone through a few tutorials involving the Z Project brush, and here is my problem: When lining up the two subtools, with z project brush selected, I attempt to select “move” to draw my transpose line. Each time I do this however, it changes my brush type to ‘transpose’. When I revert back to the draw state, it converts back to the zproject, but this is dissallowing me from using this tool.

Following along step by step with any tutorial gives me the same result (when this is not happening to the tutorial presenter)

Any ideas?

If you’re using ZBrush 3.5 there have been changes made to the ZProject brush that temporarily prevent its use in that manner. These features will be returning with ZBrush 4.

Is this still an issue with 4R3 (or is the following related)?
Cannot seem to get the Z-picking as explained in this video to work.
