Thanks for the comments guys!
The car is done 100% in zbrush (just uvs edition in maya). The rendering is 100% zbrush (background put in photoshop).
I placed the car in a natural environment, but the wrong reflections and without transprency its hard to get so realistic…
Sebcesoir, great job!!
That’s cool!

Nicely Integrated!

Pretty darn good. A few tweaks ind it will match perfectly.
I have no words. Great job.small_orange_diamond

what I would do is make the wheels a separate object this way you can have more polys to deal with in the wheel well.
Also you fake the interiors. Model them separately and then composite them in Photoshop, alternatively you could render a mask layer of just the car and the windows.
Its looking better by 100%, but in order to get those big surface adjust your focal shift setting into the negatives and comb the body with a low intensity setting.
fantastic, no word
well done, man !
As truely nice as this model is, it does scream out an area that I would think any modeler has in its inventory: Boolian opperations.
I am quite new to 3d modelers, however I have extensive CAD background and I wouldn’t even try to do this type model given the toolset in Zbrush.
I think its an enormous kudos to you for experimenting with ZB for something like this.
Please give us an post explaining how you would do this same job (with ZB) differently. Specifically, how would you achieve something like the wheel-wells with more precission without boolians at your disposal.
Sebcesoir, 5 stars, the model looks fantastic. An achievement with Zbrush. The matching is almost there, like u said, the reflections… Please keep posting ur work. It’s insane how good it is.
Great car and great compositing job in the final version.
You say it took 3 days to complete. Based on what you learned from this project how much time do you think it would take now if you were to do the same car over?
What material did you use for the white paint on the car?
That’s pretty darn good… I didn’t know it can model car this good!
ABout the time, I’m not sure I can reduce a lot…
I already hade a good experience of non organic nodeling, and all cars are different so I think it will be a bit hard to reduce times…
hey seb, nice work it’s cool to see something different as the usual monsters.
congrats
Great work my friend. To obtain the perfection you only must take a look of enviroment reflection of the glasses(exspecially on the sides).
After this,you’ll done a “perfect” work(perfection is not human…).
WANNA LOOK?

After this, you'll done a "perfect" work(perfection is not human....).
If this is indeed the case, then man has no nature/identity, rather he is an amorphous mound of jello with no stardard to guide his life. The repercussions of which are simply terrifying for any life-loving man!
Definition - Perfection : Consistant with identity/nature.
The final result is exellent Sebcesoir, welldone.

I wrote a tutorial on how I proced for the car.
You can see it at :
Else nobody will see your little post

Ps Hoops! Yet made
I’ve seen it!
But Pilou is right
Thanks for the tutorial. I’m going to practice making tires today.
