Z brush interface problem - Ghost transparence, solo mode

Hello I’m trying to make the least cluttered ui it would be possible to have in z brush, something that allows the workspace to take up most of the screen, sort of like sculptris but even more so or artrage. I’ve come to this point, but there are two buttons in the right corner that seem to dissapear when I enter customize ui mode.

I would like to remove them so the bar to the right dissapears, I don’t use them anyway, anyone else having trouble moving those two buttons away, I’m on a laptop maybe that’s why they’re bugged?

You should upgrade to ZB4 R7 P3. B brings up the brush pallette , you don’t need them cluttering the bottom
I posted some stuff, but it’s way more than you desire if you’re going for minimal. You want to be able to easily get to useful functions. Check it out.

Nah I have the most important brushes on screen so they’re easy to access, might put them on hot keys though…but still want to get rid of those two buttons in the right corner, is that a bug because they disappear the moment i want to edit the interface.

If you perform a search on the Forums here, it has been covered in the past. You’ll probably find it in a couple tries.

Oh yeah I figured it out, if you’re a laptop user and having problems with the buttons just load up the minimal UI it’s in the Zstartup/ui folder by default, very easy to customize.

By the way here’s the ui, press z to bring up a second panel. Where can I find the total number of polygons btw, I’d like to put that in the z panel too.

You’ll have to go into a submenu in Preferences for the Active Points, etc. Hitting Tab will hide some stuff for you (where those two icons are)

Yes just to clarify for future users who might want to know where it is, it’s under Preferences/misc.

You can also see the polys for a subtool by hovering the cursor over its entry in the subtool menu, or for a tool by hovering over the tool entry in the tool list.
