The other day i was playing around with some geometrical
corpus and suddenly - there it was,the Z-Ball.
Base-mesh done in Wings3d,rest ZB.

i think its just a base mesh, duplicated several times, then grouped and then copied and scaled inside one another.

snapshotted and then scaled down + rotated 3x.

I thought that you used a sphere with alpha’s. Can you go through the process with the geo thing?

TrapDoor:sure,i´ll post it in a few hours.
First i got to apologize for this isn´t really ZBrush(although it
could be done inZB from a certain point on) ,but hopefully
i´ll get away with that.
Since i don´t have any experience with Maya,XSI or so ,i´ll use
the terminology of Wings;so,please,translate it for the software
you´re using.
You don´t need to start from such a complicated to build
corpus an Icosahedron will do as well.
1.draw the Ico + then cut the edges into 3 + connect like this
