Using zapp link to texture out my model but everytime I try to reimport it from photoshop I’m getting a “memory error” and zbrush crashes. I tried to increase the memory usage under the preferences menu but its still crashing. My model is only 1.5mil polys and I have 2 gigs of ram/ 3.2dual processor. Not sure whats happending. Is there anything else I can do to increase the performance?
Your Preferences>Mem>Compact Mem setting should be between 1500 and 1700. No higher.
Your Undo settings should be left at the default of 4.
Your hard drive where ZBrush is installed should have plenty of free space and be kept defragmented.
Try closing down any unnecessary background apps or extra tasks in the task bar.
