"Z Activator" error whem trying to run Zbrush.

Hi, I recently brought a new computer after my older computer broke down (for the last time). I installed Zbrush 3.0 on my system and when I start it up, instead of asking me for my serial number, an error window titled “Z Activator” pops up that says “LICENSINE ERROR: Unknown return_code (False_AF_VK_ACCESS_DENIED). Please contact Pixologic. Shutting down.” It then loads up the ZBrush Support page in my browser.

My question is, why is this error popping up? My old computer ran on XP and was 32 bit, the new one runs on Vista (soon to be windows 7) and is 64 bit…Is it a compatibility problem with the operating system or cause its 64 bit? The new computer runs at 9 gigs of ram with a quad core Intel processor, the older one was 2 gigs and a Intel Xeon processor… The other reason I can think of is maybe Pixologic only allows Zbrush to run on the computer it was originally installed on?

If it is something with my system, is there away to fix it?

Right click on the ZBrush3 executable (NOT your desktop shortcut; you need to browse to the ZBrush 3 folder itself). Choose Properties.

In the pop-up window, click the Compatibility tab. At the bottom will be a check box for running the app as an administrator. Check that, click Apply, then close the window.

That’s it.
