Hey guys, I finally got a chance to finish my take of a young version of Gomez Addams from the Addams family. I based the concept mainly on Rami Malek but I also used other references for the face… all done in ZBrush, substance painter for textures and rendered with Maverick.

I really like how you do the hair in ZBrush and Maverick does a great job at rendering it. Definitely a Malek feel to it but you still managed to give it a different look all together

As soon as I saw the image in the Wall I knew it had to be Gomez. Then when I came into the topic and saw you’d use Rami as your reference, I realized that dang – that would be perfect casting!

Thanks Jaime! glad you like this. Yeah, I started with just Rami Malek, but then I added a bunch of other references from other actors to update the looks haha
right? I think it would be an interesting for a prequel (maybe before he meets Morticia haha)
Thanks mate! yeah, I think he would be perfect for the role… I was between him and Oscar Isaac, if you check his character in ‘Sucker Punch’ I’m sure you’ll see Gomez addams in it haha
I think you nailed it here. Malek has that same bug eyed weirdness intensity that John Astin had(has).
