Thanks guys, it’s based on Lord of the ring Balrog, into the moria cave! I’m still working on it, when it will be finished I’ll post more images.

The head kind of reminds me of that higher chaos demon ( I dont remember what its called) from warhammer! which is also real cool

Love the horns dude!! Just wondering if you could please tell me how you did the ribbing on them since, I have to create some ribbing on the horns of the character I am creating?

Hi,
Just wanted to add my compliments to the ones you’ve already gotten. The sculpt is absloutely stunning in that it has so much life and emotion to it in the gesture/pose. In someways what comes to mind as a suggestion is maybe to do something with this based on the Silmarillion rather than the Lord of the Rings, when the most powerful of these creatures were supposed to be something about on the level with Sauron and fought against the elves of the First Age (I may be shooting myself in the foot here since I’ve planning a sculpt of that using an alternate idea for the Balrog design but the more the merrier!). Seriously though, this is a beautiful piece of work and I really look forward to seeing more of it.
