Yona's Little Adventures...

Glad to see something from you after such a long time, Yona.
Your chico chica boumba video is really cool :D. I have a bird … a ****atiel and his name is chico. I need to show him your video… maybe he starts dancing then.
XD
Great work! And really funny!

Edit: Um… somebody edited my post? My bird seems to have a bad name…Sorry! I used a dictionary and this species is called like that… no?

Chico Chica Boumba rules.
I must make sure my daughter doesn’t see it until it’s out or she’ll keep on asking for it relentlessly and I won’t have answers.

Yeahhhh!
i’m glad that you like it!!!

one question: is anyone work with modo? is it easy to work with?
i’m looking for a good mac OS 3D pack and i’m not crazy of MAYA?

so if anyone can share his experience!

I have Modo, I’m learning it and it’s quite easy. But it’s not a completely formed character animation application yet though.
I’m learning a bit of animation and my hope is that by the time I learnt enough of that and also of Modo it will have a better character animation system.
I’d be surprised if by the next release it doesn’t have a rig functionality for characters like other apps have.

The trailer looks like big fun! Thanks for posting the link. Looking forward to seeing your TTM updates  !

In fact, maxinkuk, i will use Modo only for modeling and rendering as i usely work on XSI. As i only can work on mac at home, and as this software sounds great, i think it’s a good option. Regarding the animation, ithink i’ll bring back the model in XSI in let one of my good friend work on the rigging.
It’s such a special and precise work, i’m not good in that. I don’t usually animate too. i think i can handle camera mapping, particules and hairs in Modo. SO i think it is a good option to me
Etcher, thx man! i can’t wait working on them too… i hope i’ll be able to work on them in 2 or 3 weeks…right now, as the presentation of our project has been a great succes, i have to focus on my company and our new projects. But be sure, as TTM is one of our new project, that i’ll work on it as soon as i can!!!

Rhhhhhhaaa… i know that it’s not a ZB update but i was so busy teaching and working for my company…
But be sure that you’ll have an TTM update in the next 2 weeks now that i have a bit of time for me!!

For now, following the BOUMBA teaser, here’s the INTERVALISTS 2009 showreel! hope you will like it!!

Yona: Great stuff, enjoyed the reel. Keep up the fantastic work always get a kick checking this thread out.:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

im in love with every thing your making are you going to make a video with all this

wow, this is simply mind boggling! your sculpts are just amazing…i love the exaggerated cartoony characters and the details you put into them. i hope you get around to taking all those characters to a textured level.

 Awesome Style! The Little Night Maker was the most original concept during the comp!

I do think an update is in order, just saying

Hi guys!

I’m back in the wonderfull world of ZB!!!
There’s a long time i haven’t sculpt with my favourite software but i had so much work to do!!!
Now, as i have my own company, i had to take a hard decision. I have to put aside the “Travel to Mama” project for now in order to work on new projects.
As it is an animated feature film project, and as i already have one in progress (Light Fields), i’ll have time to work on it later.
So i’m going to focus my effort on a new project named, for now, “Little H” which follows the fantastic adventures of this little boy. For this project, i’ll develop the character bellow in 3D. So, GOOD FOR ME, i’m going to have fun with ZB again! YEAAAh!
My pipeline will be the same as usual. XSI for the low poly, ZB for the sculpt and texturing and XSI for the lighting/rendering.
I have to design an antic robot too. He’s going to be the best friend of this little boy. In fact, you can already see this robot! It’s the bag carried by the boy! So we can say that this little robot is the forefather of the Transformers as the stooy takes place at the end of the 19th century.

I’ll post the designs of the robot later and will make a quick watercolor of the final composition.

hope you will like this new project

;)sound interesting, looking forward to see your updates !

I want in! This sounds like it’s going to be fun watching your progress!

You’ve got too many ideas and too little time!!! I’m looking forward to the new stuff!

HAHAHA you’re right Etcher that’s exactly what i was telling to my associates

Hello guys!

Here the 2nd character of my new project “Little H”.
it’s the hero best friend… his name is Emrold and, as you can see, he is a robot. He can transform himself in a bag that Little H carries most of the time. Thanks to his telescopic arms and legs he can help the young boy during his fantastic adventures!
Now that the designs are ready, i have to draw the model sheets and start the 3D!!
hope you will like the little guy!
